New member says hello!
Hi guys!
Got my first M3 a couple of month ago, not new but 12k miles only and in crazy nice shape with ZCP, DCT, EDC and whole shebang. Had 550i and a few other very nice wheels before, but like most of you I feel nothing in comparison with the M3. Since I bought the M3 I've started to enjoy the M3Post and quickly realize I'm far from the only guy crazy about a car, or more specifically the M3 E9x. Reading not only about the joy to drive it, clean, mod and look after the car, but also the effort to avoid damages by carefully warming the engine, parking miles away to stay away from dents and scratches. The latter is something which is a daily concern of mine as living down town (Stockholm). My family accept but will never fully understand my "odd" behavior when looking for good parking spots, taking a quick walk to double check nothing happened etc. I'll plan to introduce them into The M3 World via M3Post bit by bit to make them realize "dad" is not crazy...:-) Anyway, "The Post" gives me great please on top of the actual car, as if that wouldn't enough. In fact to me "The Post" actually further increases the special feeling to own a M3 - Lots of interesting inputs, funny stories, and proper cohesion. Finally posting a (crappy mobile) picture. Currently on winter tires, can't wait to put on the Competition Package wheels for the first time soon! Cheers, Nik PS. First gentle mods; black kidneys and black taped rear spoiler. Thinking about an exhaust - successful mod on the 550 - but will enjoy for s bit more while checking out options. |

Welcome fellow AW E90 member. If you can, do the gloss black kidney grills. I made the mistake and did matte, and they looked awful. Enjoy the modding process as it is addicting.

Nice car!...and welcome. You are certainly not alone with your family's, "dad is really weird about his car" behavior. Pretty normal . Enjoy!

Spring' arriving!
After a nice couple of month start with the winter tires on the pleasure takes another step after changing to the Summer wheels.
EDC in mid setting certainly make you feel the car. But as my wife say, a firm ride ones in a while doesn't hurt.. Anyway, with usually pretty long and dark winter seasons back in the Nordic the Vikings tend to light up this time of the year, and some of them look forward to wear some of those Michelin out!
