Seating Height F80 vs F82

Can anyone tell me if the F80 and F82 have the same seat height or does one sit lower than the other?

Part of the driving experience for me is feeling like I am in the car and sitting close to the road, ala 911's. This is a feeling that has been lacking to some extent with prior M's but sounds as if they partially rectified with this newer generation. I like the looks of the four door better but don't want to regret my decision if it has a higher seating position.

Thanks!

The M3 is 1.6" taller than the M4. So one can safely assume that the seating position in the M4 will be somewhat lower (unless it all comes at the expense of head room).

The 4 series was advertised as having the lowest center of gravity of all BMWs.

Thank you for the reply!

So the 1.6" increased height of the sedan is increased height from the ground to the floor board and not increased height from the floor board to the roof? That's good to know and may influence my decision. I just wish the 4 was a good looking as the 3 so this would be an easier choice.

Looking at F32 vs F30 specs, it seems that the the coupe has 0.9" less head room than the sedan. The seating position is probably somewhere around 0.7" lower. Not even sure you would notice this much from the driver's seat.
