Seating Height F80 vs F82
Can anyone tell me if the F80 and F82 have the same seat height or does one sit lower than the other?
Part of the driving experience for me is feeling like I am in the car and sitting close to the road, ala 911's. This is a feeling that has been lacking to some extent with prior M's but sounds as if they partially rectified with this newer generation. I like the looks of the four door better but don't want to regret my decision if it has a higher seating position. Thanks! |

The 4 series was advertised as having the lowest center of gravity of all BMWs. Last edited by CanAutM3; 01-14-2014 at 01:32 PM.. |

Thank you for the reply!
So the 1.6" increased height of the sedan is increased height from the ground to the floor board and not increased height from the floor board to the roof? That's good to know and may influence my decision. I just wish the 4 was a good looking as the 3 so this would be an easier choice. Last edited by smithrider; 01-14-2014 at 02:09 PM.. |
