Lost Out To The Hideous Beast

After 5 years of e90 M3 fun, I've returned to the dark side. The fuel use of the M3 was just too much to handle. Besides, I needed something more practical for hauling around Christmas trees.

From This wonderful gem:

To this hideous beast:

It drives like crap, but the Powerstroke does get about the same mileage as the M3.
It's been fun, but I guess it's time to lurk the Ford truck forums.

Look at it this way, now you can buy a dedicated track car and you already have the means to tow it to the track

Ummm, BOO!!!!

Rent a truck once a year when you need to grab a Christmas tree...or better yet, make friends with someone who has a truck.

Go back to the place/person that bought your car and beg for forgiveness and your ride back!!!

What are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times on the Ford? Are you going to track it? Put some Recaro's inside, maybe some Akrapovic exhaust?

Wife and stepson have already taken bets. Wife says two years and son says 45 days. The truck gets sideways like nobody's business. 800 lb/ft of torque can be fun.

Was just playing on the fact that an F250 gets similar fuel mileage to the M3.

I rent a truck several times a year, and it's much more economical than owning one. Major PITA. It's already listed for sale.
