I remember my friend had the same setup on his E46 about 6 years ago, also a soulspeed customer. it worked very well.

I have a metal pipe inside of a pvc pipe, two metal ends that screw on the pipe, then the pipe is tied down to the rood rack, very reliable.. PM me for more info

They are from Bimmerworld, pretty easy to pop rivet and glue to the front fascia. the kit comes with 4 of them, I thought the two made the front more stable at higher speed.. I still have some Supersprint Cat delete sections that would fit your car...

Haha awesome , I wish ! In fact they prob wouldn't fit my car as its a 335i not a true m3 although I do have an m3 front end - thanks a lot for the wealth of info given - car looked so well sorted you just miss her !?

talked to the guy who bought it and he was super happy.. I had about $110K into it. Looking at either a used ZR1, new Viper TA, or 991 GT3 with clubsport pack.. must save some $$$$..
