Fire extinguisher placement.

Greetings guys! I'm planning to join an autocross event sponsored by Corvette Car Club. But they require a fire extinguisher reachable mounted inside the car. Can anyone recommend a specific small extinguisher (for formality's sake) which I could mount inside without destroying the inside of the car. Preferably something that I could dismount easily without leaving unsightly holes in my car. =D

For Auto-X? Are they crazy? Even SCCA Solo II and Pro Solo programs do not require that.

Are you sure it's a Auto-X? Maybe for a full on track event in the Advanced Group that would make sense...

but as mentioned above this should only be required for HPDE advanced groups/TT or W2W.

Sorry.. yes it's for full on track event but not just advance. I'm a Group B driver and they said it's a requirement regardless of group. I have no idea why.. I guess corvette guys are paranoid because their cars get into flame easily? No offense to the vette lovers LOL My buddy and I confirmed it at the Hooked On Driving event yesterday because they were there to advertise. Thanks for the inputs!
