I prefer Pagid's personally, I've had Ferodo's on my GTR when I had it.

Which Pagid? Don't want to be that noisy. Also starting to read about Endless MX72.

I had 2500, great pads but still squeaky. Performance Friction are supposed to at least the same in performance, but without the squeak!

I have 2500's on my car at the moment, they seem to be pretty good so far but do squeak every now and then.

Do you know which version of PFC? Don't mind it squeaks now and then.

I had them on my Audi and was happy with them.
They would get noisy if they didn't get used used hard for a while.

I run the RS29's on my 911. I ran them on my M3 when I had it as well that was a daily driver. Great pad. You could pick up something more 'road' focused if you wanted. But IMO they aren't that noisy.

I have them on my Celica and they held up well on the track and street. They don't produce excessive dust either which is a plus.

I plan to run them on my 135 as well.

Fav Street/Track Pads for the money . They can be dusty and squeaky at times.

I'm not a fan of them, I used them on the wrx and they were ok.
I much prefer race brakes RB74 pads that are cheaper and just as good.
Is this a street, track or combo pad you're looking for. For the track I'd recommend the DS3000, they were fantastic but not for a daily driver.

Combo pad - something that will last a bit longer than stock pads where noise is not too bad.

+1 Awesome pads for the price. Try Sydney race brakes they have the best price for these.

I went with vsport.com.au for $275 delivered to perth., they were the only ones around when I needed them that actually carried them. The rest had to order them in and there was a 4 week wait time!

Are the OEM pads not worth the consideration?

The reason I ask is I recently replaced my brakes including rotors and pads. the guys who did the install (I didnt buy from them) recommended i look to the BMW perf rotors and the std OEM pads (which i got elsewhere).

I track the car probably monthly and the setup has been excellent. Although I have only the original setup to compare too.

Just wondering if maybe i need to look at other options for the next time i upgrade the brakes.

If it's price related (bang vs. buck) - then i can understand.

I could be just over cautious. .

I went out to a tuning session yesterday, which is pretty much just free time on a skid pan and the little track here. My brakes are completely stock, and if I went as fast as my limited skills allowed, they were struggling after only three laps of the low speed 1.6km circuit. Maybe my driving style is too aggressive but personally I would love for them to work for a little longer, because they work great to begin with.

On my 130i, the standard brakes (and brake fluid) were cooked after a couple of laps at Wakefield. I upgraded fluid, slotted rotors, and DS2500 pads - it was a massive difference, I didn't feel any need for BBK. Only problem was too much squeal for a daily drive.

Sparoz - trying to find out about which PFC pad compound it was.
