CPO cover Mechtronic sleeve seal?
Well I thought I was the lucky few who has an ZF auto tranny that doesn't leak. After being parked for a couple days I found a small puddle (about 8 drops) under the car. The oil was light brown so I thought a botched oil change I did a couple months ago (I've never botched an oil change, but still I got to freakin' out.)
Got the car lifted, couldn't find any leaks under or around the motor. Found the black plastic tranny pan wet. Had to lift other side of car and see the leak coming from above the edge of the pan, so I'm 99% sure it's the common mechatronic sleeve: The DIY is easy: http://www.thectsc.com/images/pdf/6_...eplacement.pdf New gasket is about $20, sleeve about $15 and fluid $200 Found this document that says the CPO warranty covers all gaskets/seals: link Sent the SA an email to get me in this week. Pray for me! |
