Smile New to me '08 Melbourne Red M3 Coupe

Last month I pulled the trigger and sold my 2002 Imola Red M3...

And purchased a 2008 Melbourne Red coupe.
Black interior
DCT
Sun roof
Heated seats
USB and auxiliary plugs
25,000 miles

I went down to EAS and had some work done...(great guys by the way )

VMR 710 19 x 9.5(f)/11(r)
Hankook V12 Tires 265/30/19 & 295/30/19
Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
AngeliBrights 4.0
Macht Schnell Air Filter

This weekend I had the windows tinted and installed the black grill/gills and reflectors.

Ceramic Tint
Black Grill
Black Gills
Black Reflectors (these will become red at some point)
Front corner amber delete

I need to get some help with the photos (I suck )

The next thing to do is the exhaust. I'm undecided on either a mid section (Turner test pipes or Challenge Race) or a rear section (cut outs or OEM Mod).

The first week with the new car I wasn't sure I did the right thing. I really liked my e46, but I wanted more power and I just couldn't bring myself to doing a supercharger. So I went for the e92 and I have really enjoyed the new car. It's very different that the e46 M3, more mature and refined feeling...and definitely faster everywhere. They are two different experiences, but I am growing to love the new to me '08 Melbourne Red M3 Coupe.

Thanks,
Chief

Looks nice. There have been a few threads lately of guys posting video of their cutouts, sounded very good. If I had black interior I would get the custom painted trim from IND (MR of course). I have red/black/black and think it would be to much.

LCI tails would go great.

You have 265 up front without rubbing?

First, thanks everyone for the kind words

I do think LCIs are going on the 'list'!

As for the 265 front tires, I have had no issues, even with a full load of people. The Hankooks are a good tire. I perfer the feel of Toyo T1Rs but they have gone up in price substaintially (they use to be at the same price point as the Hankooks).

These Hankook tires have a bit of rounding at the corners and I'm wondering if anyone has tried 305 rears?

Oh, and as for the reflectors, black for now...red later...maybe have the holes filled in the future. I had purchased a set of red reflectors from Bimmian - damn things had a bad paint job and didn't fit properly

Thanks again everyone

Your E46 was beautiful - looks like it was totally stock (compared to your immediately modded E92?)
