Parked M3 in Georgetown draws big crowd

While walking along M Street in Georgetown I spotted a crowd/mob from afar
and as I approached it there were about eight guys completely surrounding
and gawking at an M3 E92 IB still with temp Virginia plates!

They were totally over it.... like a propper object of desire should demmand

The best way to share is to post a pic. Especially after the title you put, I was expecting to see a nicely modded M3.

I went to college up there, and I can tell you an M3 shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. Georgetown is incredibly expensive to live in, and seeing Bentley's was commonplace. Maybe the guys were actual enthusiasts and appreciated the car .

That was the twist because it was the last place I expected to see that
take place! I thought it was funny because I had never seen that anywhere,
much less in such an affluent area.
Also, most locals dont stroll down M St all day, the vast majority is made
of tourists and/or out-of-towners.
It appeared to be a bunch of guys in same group who knew what they're
looking at... sorry if title sounded misleading - no intentions to do so.

Was probably a group of tourists who happen to just get there and that was the first nice car they probably had seen in awhile (probably are from west virginia or something) Just a matter of perfect timing and the place they were from.

Anyone from that area wouldn't give a bmw a second look. I would look more closedly at a honda civic since those are less common than bmw's in g-town or foggy bottom

What is the point of supposing they are from West Virginia? That is just stupid. I work in WV and no one typically gives my car a second look either.

No, they're too busy playing the banjo and squealing like pigs.

I gotta say that an M3 is really nothing special in the Gtown area.

My guess:

Another Oil rich exchange student from the UAE with all of his car buddies gathering around a mod done over the weekend before they all pull up to Joesphine's Nightclub to sexually harass the white girls...

If you live in the area...you know it's true...
