Experience with Wheels + Tires shipment?

Gents, ladies and pcockley:

Looking at pulling the trigger on some new rims+tires. Can anyone assist in a ball park cost for shipping to Sydney? Tirerack for both?

Funny they quoted me $370 landed in sydney for 4 tyres. I asked them to double check the figures and it still say the same?

Anyone having the same problem as mine?

I got 270ish aswell. I posted my findings in a thread for the micheline PSS. Fedexed to Sydney.

Btw this might or might not be a tip for you. Get it delivered to where your going to get your tyres put on. That way you don't have to figure out how to transport it from your work/office to there. (they don't fit too well in a 135i lol)

I paid $250ish for my tires from tirerack

I paid $550 in shipping for my wheels from the states... but DB Schenker then raped $160 out of me for 'customs brokerage' or whatever...

i have previously purchased rims + tyre packages from tire rack and the shipping cost me about 600ish. tho they were 20" Oz wheels.

Most accurate would be just to email Gill @ Tirerack to get an exact quote.

Tyres alone from Tirerack (4 PSSs) were $273 FedEx economy for me... perhaps the varying costs depend on the total weight/final destination?

It arrived in 5 working days! Can't complain about that!
