Apex ARC-8 or Volk TE37SL for track wheels

Any thoughts?
Which one is stronger?
The Apex ARC-8 is significantly less expensive but is it as strong as the Volks?
Thanks

unless you track very often, I'd just go with the apex wheels

Apex so you can beat the S--T out of it without worrying about too fancy wheels.

dont think anyone can give you a definitive answer as to which one is stronger but the volk wheels are forged while the apex wheels are cast... although the apex wheels have been known to be very strong. you cant go wrong either way. depends on what kind of budget you have.

getting replacement rims will also be easier with the APEX... I would love to get a TE37SL but APEX is great value (I have APEX)

The main reason to go with the TE37 is they fit the Brembo 380mm BBK and are a little lighter. Otherwise they're both JWL certified, so they are both strong.
A few of us here got the StopTech BBK with the APEX wheels. This combo has worked great for me.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

For the price APEX is not a bad choice as long as they clear your brakes!

Apex ARC 8 for street and track

Eddy P. is one of the best people to deal with in this industry. He has spent countless hours on the phone with me discussing everything *except* wheels Beyond helpful when it comes to setting the car up properly...

i like the Apex wheels AND the Volks... i guess it all depends on your budget.

Personally, i'll pick the Volks over the Apex if i have the money.

The Volks will give you more clearance with your BBK. Friend of mine has Apex and a rock got lodged between his StopTech calipers and the rim causing a very big groove. Both look good and do the job, though.
