Fastest you've driven?
What's the fastest everyone's gone in their E92 M3? I had read that it is electronically limited to 155 but I know for a fact this is not true... at least not on a 2011 model with the Competition Package... So what's the fastest anyone's done in theirs?

This issue has been covered many times. All of the threads I have read seem to support that "true" speed of all US models is indeed limited at 155 though the speedometer may indicate a speed higher.

An indicated 304 KM/h, I have Dinan Racing Middle Exhaust Software for my Akra Evo system.
This was done on a closed course. |

I promise you I know for a fact that it is not electronically limited to 155. Again this was done in a stock 2011 M3 Coupe w/ Competition Package, 6 speed manual transmission...

M3: How fast have you gone in an M3? Was it on the street or track? How many speeding tickets have you had in it? All time: How fast have you gone in any car? Was it on the street or track? My anwsers: M3: 90 mph, street, 0 <--- no tickets in 3 years All Time: 232 mph, track

I do not condone breaking the posted speed limits, so I would never comment on any illegal driving, nor was this posted to illicit any such conversation. I was just curious what the fastest someone has driven a stock M3, as I had previously thought the car was electronically limited to 155.

140 in the m5 155 limiter on the e90 330i 190 ducati 1198 186 cbr1000 165 evo x (gearing limited) car would do at least 190 Clients cars on the track.. 150 gallardo 155 murcielago 155 zr1 140 997.2 gt3 155ish in 600whp 996tt Ironically, the cheapest car i've ever driven is also the one ive gone the fastest in haha Can't wait to go to PBIR and homestead miami and go a little faster!

250 km once on the highway with 2011 ZCP DCT stock and that was it. I just wanted to see how it feels to go that fast. It was me and my friend who drives an e46 M3. He started it and I followed him. By the time I looked at the speedometer I was like holy sh*t 250km. It didn't feel that fast. Instead it was really smooth and nice indeed Fortunately no tickets phew
