New M3 impressions.
First of all I have to say I love the car, it's an amazing machine with very high tech instrument and high quality materials. I do have to admin I'm having a hard time adjusting to the seat. The clutch pedal travel is immense to the point where in order to fully press it down, the brake pedal sits high up top where my knee bends a whole lot when braking, making it pretty hard to heel and toe. The car pulls nicely but lacking torque. Any tips you guys could share that could make the transition easier would be highly appreciated. Questions, what is "dynamic guidance" under the Nav options?, does the dash brightness adjust?, if entering "night mode" under the Nav display it won't switch back to day during daylight? Thanks a lot for any feedback you guys could provide.

First of all, congrats!
You can try clutch-stop to reduce clutch travel. It is tricky though. I couldn't do it in my previous car (Z4MC) because igntion is gated by the clutch (ie, clutch needs to fully pressed in order to start the car). If you're lucky, after the clutch-stop the sensor will still trigger and the car will start. Dynamic guidance is either the nav screen adjusting its rotation with car changing direction, or it is the mode where you can browse the map. The nav won't change between day and night modes automatically. You can assign the mode change to a shortcut button (the ones numbered from 1-6 are programmable buttons).

You can control the display brightness also under the settings menu item.

Congrats. Learning a new car is kind of like a new girl. You have to learn each other's quirks
