How near is the end of E92 M3 production?

Is the interview with Matt Russell (http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=519967) the latest on the E92 M3? I mean, there was no concrete info as to how long the E92 M3 will be available for clients wishing to have one built to order. So, my questions are these: How many months are left in the E92 M3 production life? Is it reasonable to expect to be able to place and order in the second half of 2012? Later than that? Only 1st half of 2012?

Yes, I know this subject has been raised before and discussed, but today we are closer to the end of a generation than previously, and my thought is that perhaps I've missed something in between.

I try to follow this topic very closely. Not just via reading speculation from other members, but careful analysis from clues we get from BMW (above) and from SCOTT26 both here and other other car forums.

From this post we learn BMW is still discussing how to end the E92.

I believe that mid to late 2012 will still see very limited introduction of the F30 sedan, with standard E92 still available. As such, it is likely we can get a 2013 E92 model from Sept 2012, through mid 2013. By mid 2013, the F32 coupe should be on sale. Then, I think there will be a break, and the F32 M3 can be introduced for on sale in very late 2014 as a 2015 model.

Automobile magazine reported new M3 is due in 2013, according to an insider source. Sounds about right to me, so 2012 is the last year of the E9x M3.

No way. The F32 coupe will barely be out in 2013. And M models always trail the introduction of the base vehicle.

Nevermind guys. I'll just keep my eyes and ears open, periodically email some people that work for BMW and maybe I'll get some good info that helps me in timing the placing of my order.

Apologies to all who felt this thread was unwarranted.

Mods, please feel free to terminate thread.

Cheers!
