Ericcson style cf bootlid

just installed my cf ericcson style bootlid today, got it from alex @alpine fitment was great and the trunk looks great in my opinion. I know some hate this trunk some absolutely love it, im open to feedback! let me know what you all think.

i also got a vrs type 2 style diffuer to be installed hopefully tommorow!

Only thing I don't like is there isn't an indent for the BMW emblem.

could have gotten it shaved but i decided its a cleaner loook with jsut the m3...

I think its sick. Ill probably do this mod soon too. I actually had put one on my old 335i and because it didnt have the area for the BMW roundel I just bought an OEM one broke off the 2 knobs that go into the trunk and just stuck it to the bumper worked out great.

I love the look of the ericcson but not a fan of the carbon fiber exposed.

If it were me I'd paint the whole thing. But if I was leaving any cf it would either be the licesnse indent and/or the tip edge of the spoiler

looks awesome - good purchase. please paint it though. I like the no-roundel look, but you should get the larger e46 size M3 decal to compensate for the lack of a roundel.

EDIT: here's a photo of the trunk with a larger decal.

Your picture makes me want one now for my AW. How did you mod the emblem? Just shave the tabs and use 3m tape?
