Truth, my dad's old denali had a dual tipped corsa side exit that was UNREAL in tunnels since it shot right at the wall. Also was funny to see the look on people's faces whenever they were passed and had their windows down.

No tunnels here in flat-ass Michigan, but you get the same effect while going under some of the larger overpasses (like on 696). Good times indeed.

i know what you mean though... my small 3.8L V6 with intake / muffler sounds crazy in those enclosed steel bridges or tunnels... it's pure sex on wheels... i go out of my way at night (when traffic is light) just to go through that one bridge at WOT...
add 2 cylinders and 114 hp to that, and yeah, i can imagine...

Totally agree... my favorite tunnel here in the San Francisco Bay Area is the one you hit right after crossing the Golden Gate Bridge (which, in itself is a cool thing to do with the top down) heading to Marin. Stay in the leftmost lane and punch it -- the sound is intoxicating!! One of the things I love MOST about my E93 M3 is the ability to hear that engine roar when the top is down.

If you don't mind an hour drive, you have the Windsor tunnel in Detroit. Just remember to bring your passport!
