OEM shift knob question

Hey guys is the manual OEM shift knob on the M3 illuminated or not? In the brochure picts it looks like it is. Also, does anybody know if that OEM M3 knob will fit a 335i?

It lights up?? So what I heard is true!! M3 6MT is an automatic transmission but they just let you guys play with the stick to think it's manual. Hmmmmm interesting

I'm pretty sure he's just trolling op because if op had searched he would have found the answer, since there are a few threads on illuminated ZHP knob, and in order to make an illuminated ZHP knob at home, you have to take the LED's out of the OEM stock knob. +1 sameh.

Oh, and op, knob will fit 335i, but boot will not. Knob and boot are 1 piece on the M3.

+1 also I don't think the 335i is illuminated so wiring needs to be done... Use a power source that comes on and off with the ignition... ex: cigarette lighter...
