First cruise of the year in my E93 M3 -- Skagit Tulip Festival
Went for my first cruise/rally with a bunch of friends from Vancouver. Much to my delight a whole bunch of cool cars showed up for the event. How about not one, but two brand new 911 GT3RS's?!! Holy crap those cars are cool. There was also a nice R8, a brand new black GT3, a Lotus, a Panamera, a Bentley, a nice E46 M3 and a bunch of other Porsches. Very nice bunch of cars to roll with that's for sure!
Plan was to cruise down to the Skagit Tulip Festival using backroads. Have a nice lunch at a restaurant and then cruise back. Total length of the cruise was about 400 km. I must say the E93 M3 is easily one of the best most fun canyon carvers I have ever had the opportunity to drive. With the top down and the DCT -- there are few cars that are this much fricken fun. What a soundtrack the motor makes! I love love love this car. The DCT performed flawlessly -- I can't seem to get my car to have any of the problems reported on this board. Granted it is a "drive by wire" system using potentiometer and a computer instead of cables to the throttlebodies -- I think people right feet need calibration instead of the DCT maybe?? Here are a few of the pictures I took. Enjoy. Check out the license plate of the Dodge Challenger that a guy that wasn't with our group had on his car (he was drooling over the R8).

Beautiful shots!
Love the "two ton vibrator" plate frame on the challenger.
