Are you guys running your nice wheels or putting on track beaters? Sard, are you going to raise your car up for this? I'm thinking about going but I only have my 20" HRE's and my car is slammed. Not sure if that'll work very well on the track.

If you need a helmet, check out this place. They carry a LOT of stuff in house. They'll run back and get pretty much what ever size you need.

http://www.extremesupply.com/Helmets...Automotive.htm

I got a Bell Helmet for aroudn $250. It just depends on what you're willing to pay. The guy there said they're all pretty similar in safety, so it's mainly how they fit.

Updated the link with the automotive helmet section.

I'm in the Tustin area off the 5 freeway. Dare lives near me in Irvine. If you're going post your location so we can figure out a good meeting location.

Ok here is the plan for now.

For Orange County people:

Meet at the Best Buy parking lot off Jamboree/ 5 Freeway in the Tustin Marketplace at 4:15 am. We will leave promptly at 4:30 am.

Best Buy
2982 El Camino Real
Tustin, CA 92782

We'll then head up the 5 north (approx. 51 minutes) to meet with Johnny, ToofDoc, Splinter at 5:20 am at

Starbucks @ Glendale & Glenfeliz
3111 Glendale Blvd
Los Angeles, CA

So leaving Best Buy..
Drive down 5 N for 37.9mi
Exit Glendale Blvd (exit 140) and turn right, drive for 0.5 miles
Left on Brunswick Ave
Left on Glendale Blvd
Starbucks is on the Right
Meet with Johnny
Drive SW on Glendale to hop back onto the 5N

Next we will swing by another Starbucks (1845 W Avenue I
Lancaster, CA 93534) to meet with Octavio
Trip will take 1 hr. 10 min

Proceed down 5N for 21.4 miles
Merge onto 14 North and drive for another 41.9 miles
Exit W. Avenue I and make a right
Starbucks is a block down at the next light on the left hand side.
Meet with Octavio at roughly 6:30 am

We will then head on to Willow Springs (approx 20 min.), but first stopping off to fuel up at the Chevron (when we exit Rosamond and make a left it will come up shortly on the right hand side)

Merge back on the 14N and drive for 10.9 miles
Exit Rosamond (exit 55 towards Edwards AFB), and make a LEFT. drive for 5.3 miles
Right on 75th St. W/ Raceway Lane (second main gate)

$10/person entrance fee.

We should arrive at the track by 7:00 am (suggested time to show up is 6:55 am)

Willow Springs is located at
3500 75th Street West in Rosamond, CA

If this route is out of your way. Just meet up with us at the track!

Hope to see you guys there. Oh btw:

Just an FYI, there's a gas station on the way to the track on the right side just as you cross over the freeway. It's pretty big.
