i know this is an odd request... ( for dallas-ites w/ a standard 135i)
i know this is a bit odd, but there seem to be 0 standard 135i's in DFW/Austin/San Anton
(houston has 1, but its a trek and I'm not sure whether the dealer is lying about it just to get me to come in -> has happened twice already) so i was wondering if anyone might let me "test drive" theirs (i know, i would never let some 19 year old i didn't know drive my car but I'm out of options) like I said, I'm 19 and really just want to test drive this car to help me make a decision about a 128i vs a 135i... I'd probably bring my dad or one of my friends along If anyone, by chance, would be open to this, plz send me a pm Thanks |

1. you can either afford a 135 or you can't. if you can, the decision is a no brainer from a performance perspective.
2. if the dealerships that you're talking to claim they don't have a manual, they're lying. you need to work on your credibility and demonstrate that you are a serious buyer with a good credit score and a solid down payment. 3. i pre-ordered my car and have had it for over a year. in fact, i bought it sight unseen. no test drive. you don't need one to make the right decision. do some more research. the car is amazing for the price. 4. the 128 is a solid car, especially for a first time buyer. consider your financial position and what impact spending the extra money on a 135 will have on you today and five years from now. 5. if you're still sol, i'd recommend showing up to a local 1er meet. it's highly unlikely that anyone will let you drive their car but if you're lucky and present yourself well, you might score a ride. |
