I was thinking about the CC breaks that they make but I ran into the same problem you did no one has delt with them.
They are a small German based company with QC thats out of this world(so they say) all 16 employees are engineers. I talked to them on a few occasions and they seemed to know what they were talking about but I wasn't going to drop 12k on something no one knew anything about. After research the same people that make there CC rotors make Stop Techs and Koenigsegg or how ever the hell you spell that cars name. |

The Brembo kit is 380x34mm which is a generous increase in maximum heat capacity, as well as a dramatic improvement in heat management. The Brembo system consistently runs cooler under both street and heavy track use, and will undoubtedly last longer than ANY other option out there. Quote:
This may sound like marketing, until you talk to anyone who has owned a Brembo system in the past. The only people who seem to disagree are the ones selling their own product. |

Isn't the rear rotor 380x28?

Yes, the rear is a lightweight 380x28mm disc.
That disc is specifically developed for rear applications which require less heat capacity. Again, the 380x28mm is a huge improvement in heat capacity and heat management for the REAR brake kit. The heat capacity is dictated by the mass of the disc. The temperature management comes from it's ability to absorb the heat created during aggressive driving, and it's ability to efficiently dissipate that heat while keeping the operating temperatures at a reasonable level for the brake pads, calipers and fluid. Other aspects that add to this efficiency of the Brembo discs are the vein design which directs the flow of air through the disc, and more importantly, the superior metallurgy which is directly related the discs ability to process extreme heat cycles without DTV, rapid wear rates, and premature cracking. It's all in the quality! |

The question is does anyone on this forum actually need the additional heat capacity? Surely not on the street, and even on the track, it would probably take a brutal track and an excellent driver to necessatitate it.
Has anyone actualy monitored rotor stock temperatures on the track on this forum? If this is not an issue for your dedicated enthusiast here, then I don't see the point of having additional heat capacity and the additional mass that goes along with it. I will try to monitor my rotor temps this year at the track. I didn't last year.
