Woke the M3 from hibernation this evening!

Since I can't drive my car until spring, I figured it was good time to add of couple of mods.

Matte black grille, matte black side gills, clear side reflectors. Purchased and received quickly from Nick @ JLeviSW

The cover is back on and I guess I will have get my speed thrills from my snowmobile for next while.

I just picked one up at the dealer the other day, still need to attach it though. My garage is heated and therefore it does not kill the battery as if it was outside, but better safe than sorry!

That cover is definitely sweet. Is it made for the M or is it generic? How much?

The mods look good. I've been back and forth with Nick @ Jlevis lately too as I'm getting my mods ready now so that the M hits the street of T.O. with a new look this spring

do you need a battery trickle charger if you just warm your car up once a week or so?

I start mine once per month or longer (last time it was about 1 1/2 months) and I have no heated garage with no trickle charger. I started it up 2 weeks ago (aprroximately) and it started without any problems. Take into mind I DONT lock my car and therefore I dont lose charge from the alarm system being constantly on.

Temperature here in montreal has been brutal (As low as minus 30 celsius!)

I had that same exact cover but I didn't like the hard plastic. In fact it was a bit tight for my liking. The zipper finally ripped in the back. I took it back to dealership and they gave me this... I like it. It cost $100 more but they didn't charge me.

I am sure Edmonton is much more colder than Toronto and Montreal

This is the second cover I have gotten from the dealer. The first one ripped and I complained and asked if they had given me the wrong one. They ordered a second one that only fights marginally better. Seems to me the cover would probably fit the regular e92 models fine, however the larger front lip on the M3 seems to make it too tight.

I hardly drive my car; thus it is parked in my garage for weeks and weeks. One time I went to fire it up, it hesitated, and misfired like crazy. Left it alone for about couple of minutes, then it ran fine. I guess, prolong parking, and cold weather does it alright. anyhow, nice subtle mods.

I know exactly what you mean. That is what happened to me.

My car has been parked since early Dec, and so far no problems starting it at all. Every 2 weeks. I do moved it slightly forward or back each time to prevent flat spot on the tires

Great mods that do a lot to complement the stealth look!
