BMW Canterbury Launch Photos
Nice to meet you Carlos! Few pictures (I have stacks more but you've seen it all before no doubt!)
Had a great night, pretty well put on, good drinks, not enough food, good music and DJ, good promo girls and show. Had a bit of a fiddle with the M3 V8 and the 135i Sport with IDrive! Pity they had no AW 135 Can't wait till it arrives! Here are some photos including my ugly mug (was chatting to the guy that ordered the same car as me the same day!) Sorry, forgot my flash! |

Great pics, wish I was there.
Not launch fanfare here in Tassie. I'll just turn up on the day, see a 135 (mine) for the first time, and drive into the sunset.....

Canterbury really go all out with their 'literal' unveilings! This one looked quite good, I wish I could have been there. I was a bit weirded out by their release of the E90 though, they had these 2 athletes poised on a track with the veil in one hand each and I think the idea was that they would burst out of the starting blocks and the veil would fly off, instead it kinda just slowly draped over one side as they sprinted no more than 10 metres. It was such an anti-climax!
If it's food you're after Trivett hit the spot with plenty of hors d'oeuvres on Monday night, mmm mmm! However, there was no presentation at all - it was just walk in, grab a drink, and start gawking. |

Well, nice to meet you there Kris, did not think I was going to, but we both happened to be sitting on the car at exactly the same time, lol!!!!
Yeah, not enough food, the show was fine, I liked that little contest they had to guess what was the mystery ingredient on a drink an the prize was a weekend with the 135. I was looking at the M3 AW with the CF roof, was just picturing how it will look the 135 with the cf bits and those wheels. In the end I made up my mind and will get the AW with Black interior. |
