F80 anyone?

I am throwing this out there hoping someone knows about this F80
Iam interested in it. Carfax looks good. Almost too good to be true. The low mileage is great. Do people actually not drive these things?

Most dealers don’t know the difference between CS and Comp. The F8x market is softening. $57k for a comp with ~15k is a decent price and inline with the difference in price of a CS and Comp. I’d try to get in for $53-55k. How’s the service history look in the Carfax?

There is nothing in that ad that suggests the dealer thinks it’s a CS.

I know. It was clearly, and correctly, listed as a Comp. The CS vs. comp was more an “fyi”. Sorry if it came across as I was saying it was a CS. CS was not offered in SO exterior color.

Nice car for sure, just don't pay what is essentially top dollar now for a car without the ICONs.

Carfax looks good. Suprised that its so low mileage especially given its a 2 owner car.

Sounds like a great find then! There are a lot of lower mileage F8x because for a lot of people it’s a weekend and/or not a daily driver. I have my ‘16 M4 along with two e92 M3s, f22 M240ix and a g20 330ix. My M4 has ~25k miles on it. You’ll love it if you buy it. SO is a cool color and the comp package has a nice power bump over the base model. I’d strongly recommend you get the M4GTS diff, DSC, steering and DCT flash as well as CS EDC. All of these changes make a noticeable difference in performance and feel.

I don’t drive mine in the winter. And I worked from home during ‘Rona. So I am at ~33k miles roughly.

Not surprised cars with 15k miles exist.

My battery dies during winter if it’s not on the Li Ion charger. It’s not always a good thing if it just sits around.

The previous owner had swap out the headlights, FY18 should come standard with ICON LED.

My ‘18 F80 LCI had angel eye rings, not Icons.

FreudeamFahren18 you may have found a hidden gem. Go take a look. If the interior is pristine then it matches the miles. If BMW says it has. O tune flaggedtgen you’re golden!

I just bought a F80 with 3500 miles on it. So yeah, some people don't drive them.

So since yours are different, it must mean that car’s headlights must be swapped out?

Again, ICONs were not standard on any model year for these cars (not even CS models). They were an option.

True statement. If you can find an unknowing dealer selling a CS at comp price, then you’re in luck. This confusion is great for the buyers of a used CS but not so good for owners as it has negatively impacted trade in and blue book values.

Good deal, imo. Great mileage for the price.

Those batteries can be expensive if you let it die a couple times
