North East track day/1er meetup
If anyone is interested on April 10 there is a track day at limrock Park. I will be instructing at this track day. I thought it might be a neat spot to have a little meet up and anyone who wanted could sign up for the school and try out there car. I would also be more than willing to give rides in my car and show you guys what the car is capable of
here is the link to the school. http://www.scda1.com/schedule/ PS. check out my station wagon on the photo page. |

I am a young driver and a complete newbie to the track experience. Though I would love to learn how to properly drive on a track as well as gain some driving skills that I know I lack. What are the limits and rules for such track days BMWeber?

well you need to be 18 and use a Snell rated M 2000 or newer helmet. that's all the major restrictions. other than that its just basic car prep(good clean brake fluid, proper tire pressure and basic stuff) if anyone wants I could defiantly help any first timers get prepped.

Should be 4175-$225/day. They haven't announced the 2008 event pricing yet, I do not believe.
I'm considering going to this event, but I have an autocross the next weekend, and it's my anniversary, so might be questionable. |

SCDA is a little more expensive I would say for limerock it would be 225-275(LRP is always raising track rental fees) NHIS is usually a bit cheaper

I just signed up for the April event at Summit Point sponsored by the Del Valley BMWCCA. Jefferson Circuit on Sat/Sun then the big track on Monday. Should be a nice break in for the 1!
