donuts
Just wondering, can donuts hurt the car? I’ve just bought an m4 and I’ve been doing a few donut sessions 2min max every few days or so in empty parking lots, can this hurt my car ? I know it hurts the tires but can it hurt any mechanical equipment like axles or something

I keep the Hooning to 18 inch tires because they’re cheaper and I have more options beyond Michelins. I can’t spend $900 on Michelin tires everytime I burn through a pair

Donuts wont harm the car. It will just wear things out more like tires, bushings, differential, etc.
No, you wont starve the engine of oil, doing donuts do not generate high constant Gs. Be smart tho, if you burn through the tire and pop it, it will cause damage. Redlining the car for 30 mins straight is not good for wear and may cause overheating but i dont think it will break anything either. Do some donuts for 5 to 10 minutes and take a 5 min break between... |
