Talking the new guy

hey my name is chris, im new to the m3 part of the forums, im 19 and just leased an AW/Fox Red 2008 BMW M3 coupe fully loaded minus DTC which im happy it doesnt have xD i love the third pedal.

Ok, So i have looked around first thing im thinking of doing which is not expensive at all would have to be the clear corners, at first i was thinking of the color matching ones but i think the clears will look just fine.

also im thinking of doing the angel eye switch to white lights,,

Im not good at all with lighting can someone help me out and tell me what i need to buy in order to make the change of the angel eyes please.

and if you guys think there are some more "mandatory" mods lol let me know =] thanks in advance !

Hey Chris! Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new M3.

For the Angel Eyes, if you are looking for a cheap solution, I sugguest you go with the GP Thunders. Only cost around $15 and it looks pretty good.

But there are LED versions available already. Check in the sponsors section for more info.

Welcome Chris. I'm partial to the third pedal too.

I had an Oldsmobile starfire with a blaupunkt stereo. The sound system was so good the car didn't matter.

Good luck and drive safely.

Hi Chris,

Congrats on the new car and welcome to the forums! For the angel eyes, we have two solutions that would work. The best upgrade are the RD ICE LED Angel Eye Upgrades which are an LED based replacement bulb that changes the color to a pure white. These are 100% plug and play replacements and offer the best match for a pure white output.

The other more affordable option are our Hyperwhite Match Bulbs which are a simple solution that also changes the color to a more white output. They will not come close to the white look of the RD kits but they are more affordable so it depends on what you prefer.

Here are the RD upgrades on our E92:

Isn't there a third option for the angel eyes that 360 forged did?

They went with a full HID kit which I find to be TOO bright for the headlights.

welcome, at the moment in my opinion GP Thunder 8300K would offer the best bang for your buck in terms of angel eye lighting. A HID kit was developed but ill wait a bit and see how it looks in person and during the daytime.

Where in NJ are you located?
