Fuel Injector Replacement Questions

One fuel injector is leaky—misfires in one cylinder on cold start, pulled plug smells like ethanol (E85), and swap coils misfire did not follow.

Gonna get all new injectors cause why not, takes out guess work. I saw I will need to code the new ones. Couple questions just to mentally prepare.

(1) The values of the injectors are on the injectors. Correct?

(2) It looks coding can be done with Protools. Correct?

Any input is appreciated. Thank you

I don't believe the S65 injectors require any coding after replacement (perhaps unless you're replacing with a different size injector, but I thought that would be handled by a custom tune?).

I replaced my injectors and did not do any coding.

You might want to consider pulling the plug on that cylinder with the leaking injector and inspect the walls for bore scoring with a borescope.

Thank you. I will look in it, although I am afraid too

Did you bleed the system afterwards? I just finished taking off the injectors and prepping for the incoming ones. You got the bosch ones correct?
