Hi guys! I’m in Los Angeles and looking for a place that can repair my carbon fiber roof. It’s vey dull looking and and of the clear has been chipped.
Please chime in with your experience on getting your roof repaired.
Thanks!

Thank you for the suggestion. I just looked them up. I’ll give them call for an estimate.

I spoke with kevin. I asked if I could take the car In for an estimate. He said I can tell you right now. “We charge 1800 for that job”so he didn’t have to look at it. I said ok. I’ll bring it in.
I got the car back last Wednesday. I’m very happy with the results.
Thank you for the suggestion of ABS.

I have a shop who fixed mine for $600.

Beyond happy with the results. MY CF had bad sun damage and was yellowing from over the years.

We layered it with 3 coats of tinted clear and the roof looks absolutely amazing now.

If anyone is looking, let me know!

I did a sort of group buy and paid 400 at ODA Autowerkz.

I don't have any pictures but it looks perfect now. They've done a bunch of roofs for M3s.

One tip - plan on removing your rubber windshield and rear window trim prior to having the roof done, and ordering new trim to put on afterwards

Tommysalami below got his done from the same place. I'll post pictures.

My roof looks better than when I bought the car, and looks even newer than most CF roofs on other M3's.

Oscar was great! Cost is about $600 now though, I just missed that $400 GB.

Nice guy, quality work, and will forever have my business. He's re-spraying my Audi's for me.

Do you know what they used to clean the resin off the weave after the gel coat was removed?

Nah, I didn't ask. But I'm pretty sure it's sanded down.
