My 2009 Melbourne Red E90 M3 Slicktop Speedcloth build

Hey everybody.

I picked up a 2009 E90 M3 in Melbourne Red with 49k miles. This car has black speed cloth interior DCT with slitktop spec.

Current plans are to swap to single hump, BBS E88, along with a handful of other things. Here's some photos I took of the delivery.

Excited to build this one. This is my 4th M3.

I went with a CarPlay unit instead of single hump. Why cage a 4dr unless track toy?

I am looking for the following.

BBS E88 in 18x10 fitment or E9X fitment with or without tires (I will trade or sell my TE37's if I find the right set). Really want gold with silver lip.

Single hump dash board

OEM steering wheel or KMP wheel with quick release

Rear diffuser of any sort

Big brake kit

Camber plates of any brand

X-Pipe and test pipes (Akra if possible) or an entire new exhaust system with high flow cats, would prefer a valved system but I want the Akra sound

APR wing

Canards for front bumper

Harnesses (Schroth)

AIM dash

Full carbon fiber intake/plenum airbox setup of any brand

Rear seat delete

I know my opinion is meaningless but if it were me I would keep this build strictly OEM plus.

If you go E88 I would do brushed and then polished lip.

Steering wheel I would do M performance wheel non electric.

Skip the single hump conversion.

And definitely no wing.

I am fully on board with the intake/plenum and full akra however!

Diffuser I would recommend something simple and sweet, either the Vorsteiner replica that's just the middle bumper portion or the challenge diffuser. No fancywide or varis business.

But I know you will do it how you want! As you should.

Wouldn't have chosen a low-mile sedan for these track modifications, IMHO. Perfect candidate for an OEM+ build. But it's your car.
