Good Emissions Friendly exhaust options
Ladies and Gents, my wife and I are moving to Northern Colorado, and recently purchased a F80 M3, completely stock. I don't have big plans for mods, except exhaust and a couple other things. I was leaning towards the Dinan axle back exhaust, because he will still pass the emissions tests. Are there other options, opinions and or advice? Needs to be emissions friendly. I will have to get tested every 2 years. Thank you all.

Are you referring to passing a visual as well? As long as you don't alter the DP anything cat back still passes the sniffer here in CA which sounds like similar emissions requirements.

I'm debating getting a midpipe myself because of emissions mainly because the visual. Anything past the main cats should be technically ok but since the F8x has secondary cats that's modifying/removing existing emissions equipment. Is it possible to pass with a midpipe in CA?

I sold my Remus cat back just for this reason. I'm running stock exhaust with MPE now because there is always the chance of failing if you remove the last set of cats like most(nearly all) midpipes do.
Yes there are places that will pass you but this is my daily driver and I'm not looking to push my luck.

I don't think running Catless helps with OP's Emission Friendly exhaust goal.
