623m on the X5 or ?
Hey all,
I'm looking to replace my 450 style wheels with something else. One idea is to keep it with 19s for now (roads are pretty bad around my work) but want to do something a little nicer looking. Has anyone run 623m on the X5 from the x6? The BMW site doesn't list them for the X5 and am not sure if it's just because of the style or if there is a load issue. The offsets on them look like they run a little further out then the oem X5. Will they run past the fender (I don't have the wider fenders)? I can buy wider fenders if I need to but want to avoid it unless necessary. My other thought is that I've been looking at maybe doing an oem +1 squared setup with 20" 611 or 612 reps (275/40/20 all around). I saw this post (https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...8#post24769148) during my google search and it looks nice and oem-ish. It doesn't look like it's past the fender. At most I want it to be flush with the fender. Would a 40 offset work in keeping this flush? I have no idea just how much more wider the wider fenders make the front and rear. Thanks! Future plans might include an eibach kit this spring/summer; so a very mild drop. |

623 will fit just fine, they offered them as winter set for F16 but there is no problem using them on X5. I have 611M on my car with 315 in the rear, looks good to me even w/o fender flares.
