isc n1 coilovers or bilstein b6

i have 2015 m4, non edc.

currently have h&r super sport lowering springs on stock struts. the front struts are blown now, obviously.

i was searching for coilovers and found the isc n1 coilover kit. bimmerworld sells them and are pretty affordable ($1500 cad)

or just get the bilstein b6 hd struts/shocks from and rear and use my springs. i know they are not really made for lowering springs but i heard that they do work and are a good upgrade from oem. ($1200 cad)

i like the coilovers because of the camber plates, adjustable, price, fully re-buildable. usa made.

the b6 strut/h&r super spring, will be set it and forget it.

there is much for track riding here in edmonton canada. but i always liked the feel of coilovers, just feels planted and rigid.

My suggestion would be to just go with the Bilstein B6's. They typically valved perfectly for a very compliant street ride, but sporty enough to handle some track days. Major improvement over stock.

While admitidly i cant speak about this specific application, I've run Bilstein sport / B6 struts with lowering springs on my last 2 cars (VW R32, B8 audi S4) and they have been amazing setups. With coilovers, more often than not, you get what you pay for.

I had such good luck with the bilsteins in the past that I went with their B16 damptronic coilover kit, since I have EDC.

The b6 isn’t available until end of the month and the isc coilover is 6-8 weeks back order, so probably go with the Bilstein.

If you fit B6's with OE springs you ride height will be higher though by 10mm. Go lowering springs.
So are the B6D not made to work with lowering springs?

I am also tossing up whether to just buy Swift/MSS + B6D or to just go with B16D. I am a set and forget type of person and don't track the car. It is my everyday driver and want something that tightens up the car but isn't overwhelming. From what I've read the KW V3 sits too low in the rear on the f80 hence considering the Ohlins or B16D.

I too am in the same boat with selection, but I have a convertible with EDC.
From what I have read the B16s can be too stiff for non-billiard table smooth roads.
