My car is pulling hard to the left when accelerating

Every time if I accelerate hard, my M4 will slip, like a rotation to the left, and DSC light will blink.

I paid for alignment last week at a local Firestone, but they told me it's done after 3 mins and didn't show me the result of alignment. So i highly doubt the alignment was correct.

But what else can be wrong other than alignment in this case?

I need you guys' help, thank you!

Could be a faulty wheel speed sensor (accelerator) or one that needs adjustment. Take it to the dealer so that they can read out any fault codes or have them align and check.

Take a look at this thread (Retrofit with Pull Drift Compensation (PDC))

I had the same exact problem brought it to BMW three times for alignment and thought I was crazy until I finally took their head tech out for a drive as soon as I took my hands off the wheel it pulled..then they found there was a bulletin for a software update and now it drives perfect.

Besides what's already been suggested, first, never go to firestone for alignment as it will never ever be right.

But on a more helpful note, I'm curious if besides the acceleration pulling, does it pull or jerk in the opposite direction when you let off from acceleration?

My E46 did this and turned out it was the rear thrust arm bushings being worn out and allowing the control arm to flex way too much.

+1 on firestone alignment being issue.

Not giving you the alignment sheet is an issue but that was caused by going there

Thank you for suggestions. Here is the outcome:

I checked my tires, the two driver side tires were damaged badly and loss grip, that's the reason for pulling to the left.

Just changed 4 new tires, it's really expensive but fix the problem

This amazes me each time. One would expect that you check the most obvious things first! I would never suggest to check the tyres or tyre pressure because IMHO this is the most logical thing to check first and I assume that these are things checked before coming to these forums, I guess not...

Actually I asked Firestone inspected my car before the alignment, tire check is included in that inspection. They said everything is OK, it even cost me 10 dollar for that Inspection. I checked the tyres again by my self then found the problem.

It’s a bunch or early 20s rejects who graduated auto school but don’t have what it takes. Don’t ever take your car there again. Find a shop that specializes in track alignments and corner weighting and give them the exact alignment specs you want. They will get it 100% and give you a print out. I would trust a speciality “race” shop even over bmw as bmw aligns the car within a “window” and won’t take the time to get it to where you want unless you specify exact alignment settings and if they are willin.
