TopView camera guides mis-aligned
I've been running into this thing ever since my 2014 F15 was updated at the dealership, i coded everything back to my original settings and only shortly after noticed that my rear view and top view camera guides (red lines) were wrong. They aligned up perfectly with the turn ratio of the truck before (when i bought it), anyone else have this issue? Could it be a coding or calibration thing?
To the right it lines up almost perfect (same with reverse camera) To the left the red guide lines are completely to the side and not even close to the real turn ratio of the car. I know its a stupid issue but i cant help but feel i might have messed something up in the coding. |

Sounds like it is a calibration issue. Your pictures aren't showing up for me, but from your description it sounds like calibration.

Sometimes a camera must be reinitialised.
For this reason, a new calibration of the affected camera must be triggered. The affected camera is calibrated automatically in the background during the journey. So that a new calibration can be triggered successfully and quickly, ideally, the following must be observed: Top rear side view camera must not be activated.Calibration is possible only in daylight.Driving speed of 15 to 25 km/h.Hold steering wheel straight.Clean camera lenses.Duration until first valid calibration about 15 minutes.Use a dry, even road for the journey for the calibration. Check whether the re-calibration has been successfully initiated: Stop the vehicle.Press the camera button on the centre console. If a white triangle can be seen in the upper corners of the display, then the calibration was successful. https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...era/1VnXEMkRvi |

I once had this issue, and saw the option of starting the recalibration in rheingold. Fortunately, just went to the dealer and they fixed it within an hour so never went through it myself. I think you start the process in rheingold, then drive on a clear straight road with marked lines and it saves the calibration.
