599m Replicas

Anyone have a reputable source for replica 599m wheels? I am looking to go 20" ; tire options are just so much better than oem 21". I love the look of 599m (who doesn't?). There are a couple dealers on eBay but I can't seem to find anything else out there on the web.

Anyone do replica 599m's?

Lol somehow I just knew that a comment would be made along those lines...

Suggestions for a 20" silver and black OEM wheel that fits the X5?

Thanks!

Need some summer shoes!

Plan on wrapping chrome with vinyl. Just got my new IND night vision double slat blacked out grill; can't wait to put it on!

Seen these on ebay from wheel zone?
I've bought 469 replicas from them. Others on here have bought replicas too.

Yep! OEM is no doubt a proper choice, but I also went with wheel zone seller from that link (just went for different style) and I'm very happy so far. He seems to only offer rims from trusted and tried factories, he knows to avoid bad quality and gives lifetime structural warranty on rims. Not a single bad review - that means something. The guy knows what he is doing.

That been said if I had money I would have bought forged ones from HRE

I have HRE rims on my M3... they are totally pimp and worth every penny...

I normally use reps as winters and never have had an issue. Like you said buying from a proper source is key...

Paying for OEM is crazy.., for the price there are aftermarket rims that make OEM look like crap...

The only reason I have Oem winters on my x5 is bmw had a deal for free winters when I bought my x5.

Exactly the seller I was looking to purchase from! Glad to hear they have a solid reputation here on the forum.

Thank you for speaking up!

612 and 599 look better, BUT they look better when they are 21 inch, not 20 inch. Among 20 inch rims 469 does look good (probably one of the best styles in 20 inch). Since you are set on 20 inch - it's not easy to chose one or another. I personally would also consider 22 inch rims - they have more tire options than 21 inch and look better IMHO.

After reading thu this post it has me thinking.. I have a OEM set of 20" 469 I was looking into having the gunmetal gray part powder coated gloss black and leave the face machined. I have been quoted about $950 to $1100 to do this. If I did them solid gloss black they would be about $850.
I see from the wheelzonesd they have a rep set just like I want to do. Maybe I should just list my OEM set here for about $1500 and buy a rep set from these guys and not only save the cost of the powder coating but make a few bucks too ?

Any thoughts other then OEM is the better wheel ?

Good deal! I've also looked at this seller and found it assuring he offers a great warranty.
