Make your door great again

With time and usage doors become more noisy to close.
What do you need to do to make them like new again ?

One word: gummi-pflege

82 14 9 407 015 is the part # on my tube.

Haven’t checked the availability on that OEM part # but if you search on-line the product is available under that name if your dealer can’t find it.

I did the gummi thing listed above. Seems to have helped a little but might be placebo. However I did find my driver door seal was cracked. Fortunately only cost $20 at the dealer.

Which door seal? Cuz the rubber one that goes around the whole opening is about $100 and you have one on the door and on the frame. Which one do you have a crack in if not one of these? The outer most one that stops the water from getting in?

Ditto! Lots of wind noise. I thought there is something wrong with my doors when I first got the X5.

There was another thread the other day some door seal between the front and rear that was folding and flipping up. I found that mine was cracked. It’s not any of the full seals around the door. Those were in good condition except some deformation from being crushed by the door and frame.
