burble/pop on downrev with newer F80/82

I have a 2016 M4, but lately have noticed some of the maybe 17/18 have a more aggressive pop/crack when downrev in 1st gear in the city. I noticed 1 this weekend and specifically saw it was stock exhaust, so must be "tuned" from factory that way? Is this one of the features that can be adjusted when you do "coding"?

No buddy, it's more the other way around. With the 11/17 software the exhaust isn't as loud as the older 11/16 software. And no, it's not just coding, it's software.

My BPM OBD tune gave me a really aggressive downshift/liftup roar on my 15
