How Accurate is the Sports Display?

How accurate is the sports display?

Did some pulls in 3rd WOT into 4th. Car pulls really hard.

Sport display shows 640HP Max & 560TQ Max after recent Tune.

Sports display for first time showed I hit 620HP & TQ was around 450-470 ish in that run.

Confirmed 3-4 back to back runs.

620HP put a smile on my face

Mods:
Akra exhaust + Dps
AEM momentum cold air intakes
BMS charge pipes
BM3 Stage 2 93 Octane Tune

Temps were 1-2 Deg Celsius, so nice cold air. Had 94 Octane + 5 gallons of VP Ms109 mix

Need to dyno this thing....

doesn't mean sht. display is calibrate to your throttle, and tuners can have it read whatever you like depending on map. its exactly the same as eco mode display, except its "sporty". mine maxes out at 560hp/560tq but obviously don't make that on the dyno. just a gimmick.

Have you had your Sports Displays recalibrated? Because my stock one shows 480hp max on it.

I'd like it recalibrated because I had my JB4 M4 CP on the Dyno recently and it pulled 555bhp to the crank (471whp).

How do you go about getting it recalibrated please?

You need a flash tune to change it.

It's incredibly accurate when you're not moving.

Are you all suggesting that the ECU isn't able to accurately report torque to the gearbox on DCT cars? You would assume that same torque figure would be being used for the sport displays...

Why is it that mine is tuned on BM3 OTS stage 2 93 and when I was going wot from 2-top of 4th it shows no more then 480 on the display even though the tune changed it to show 640hp max?

Something wrong with my tune?

lol I'm sure there is nothing wrong with your tune. The car feels significantly faster right? The power gauges are just a gimmick and in no way represent the actual power you are making.

Yea Id say the car feels faster now for sure. If I do a 40punch in second i spin on the stock continental summer tires now whereas before I don't think it spun on a 40roll.

Dynoed to confirm (around 60whp loss)

Display showed max of 560hp (I'm tuned)

Hope this makes sense

I am tuned as well BM3 stage 2 OTS 93 and mine doesn't peg more then 480, however it shows 640 as the highest the gauge will go.

Maybe the sports display is programmed differently with BM3

During the leak I switched back and forth between tunes

Stock pegged to 480hp (max gauge value)
Tuned pegged to 560hp (max gauge value)

Fixed the leak and it showed the same exact values

Knew then it was not an accurate display

Ok good. It had me nervous my tune was messed up lol. The car feels slow to me since I came from a hellcat, so I guess I am possible used to that power delivery.
