I flashed my car back to stock 2 days ago.

I was advised by my tuner to have the "checksum box checked" when flashing the stock file.

I'm on a different tune though... Did they get back to you?

Hey ctgeorge.

I see a reply sent from our technical department yesterday at
12:27PM, which advised that they would be sending you a new
Stock file within 24 hours. I'll check on the progress of that this
this morning and make sure they meet that time-frame.

It looks like you downloaded the latest version of our HEX Flash
program, and your original Stock file needs to be updated for the
new protocol.

Not for nothing but you've been more responsive to my DMs etc. than your support department has.

I sent an email to Support Sunday afternoon. When I didn't get a response by Monday 3:00pm EST I called, left a VM and continued to wait. I then emailed my shop I had the bench flash preformed cc'ing VF support. It was only then I got a generic "A ticket has been generated and will be answered in the order received. " from Mike

I never received an email update from Support informing me that an updated file is being supplied.

Support supplied me the updated files that are compatible with the latest version of the Hex Flash application. Currious if this has to be done with others that have files from the older bench flash process?

I was wondering the very same thing after reading this post?!!!

I'm going to want to flash back to my stock file at the drop of a hat if I get into a situation that calls for me to do so...I definitely don't want to run into this situation.

Yes, that pop-up notification will occur anytime someone tries
to flash an older file format, using the latest HEX Flash Program
enabled for full OBDII Port Flashing.

This is by design as the files constructed based on the new protocol
are different, and our existing HEX Tuning customers who were
originally "bench flashed" will need to request updated files.
