Had this up for trade previously, went on a trip to MI and the clear coat cracked when I hit a pot hole in the -15° weather. Comes with red hinges, front BMW roundel, front latch, and locking eyelet. Not sure if it can be re-cleared, original plan was to slap black vinyl on it but bought a used hood from a scrap yard instead.

Currently sitting in Metro Detroit MI, would prefer to sell it there. Price is OBO.

Have a couple that are interested locally. I'd prefer not to ship it as it'd be a huge pain in the ass and God forbid if it got damaged more during transit. If local doesn't work out I may entertain shipping, but for the price it's really not worth the hassle on my end at the moment.

Answer to question from a few people; as far as I can tell the cracks are only in the clear coat and didn't extend through the fibers of the carbon weave. The under layer is still fine that the latch and eyelet are attached to as well as the mounting holes for the hinges.

is that a crack or key mark? if its just a key scratch it can b e sanded and re clear coated

Hood is still available. I've had something come up at work so I'll be relocating to SC. Hood is still in MI and available, however any chance of shipping is off the table so it will be local pickup only. Currently boxed up in a garage ready for pick up.
