did it not come with a charger in the trunk?

My car came with two because the dealership used my trunk as a junk storage of sorts in the showroom

First time I opened my trunk there were bags and boxes inside from other cars floormats and chargers.

2 sets of summer and winter floormats however

Not the 500 dollar ones but those are still pretty expensive and nice chargers. I would be thrilled to have 2 of them. My current charger is ancient.

Are you sure those chargers are lithium battery approved ?
The US power tenders never used to be.
Could be killing your battery.

Whats it say on those instructions ?

That's a good question...

I will have to take a look. My car came prewired for the chargers.

Battery Charger for GTS

Can anyone recommend a trickle battery charger for my GTS so I can store the vehicle without battery going dead?

I found this CTEK Charger, p/n: 61432358315 on the web.

http://www.bmwblog.com/2016/01/28/bm...ttery-charger/

Wondering whether it will it work on the GTS?

CTEK chargers are very good, but that one will kill your Lithium battery

You need the lithium version

BMW recently came out with a new charger also made by ctek, that charges both lithium and regular batteries. The part number is 61432408594
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/61432408594/

The old one and the new one looks almost the same, the only different is that the new one will have "normal" and "li-on" modes written on it.
