BMW 219M 18" staggered w/ Bridgestone RE-71R's
**** SOLD **** I'm selling a set of 219M's and Bridgestone RE-71R's that were bought and used for 1 weekend at Circuit of the Americas where I did a track weekend with BMWCCA in June. Price is $1699 The Bridgestone RE-71's were purchased new, and have had just the 7-8 track sessions (and driving to and from the track in Austin) for the 2 days at the track. They are in great shape and have a lot of life left, I honestly was surprised how good they ended up at the end of the weekend. The combo performed absolutely great on the track. I went back and forth on sizes and tires before landing on this combo and it was perfect. I would highly recommend these to someone wanting to mount and drive to the track. I mean, you can use them to daily drive too, but they won't last very long I don't think. The 219M wheels were bought used from another M3Post member at the same time. I would rate them from 6/10 to 8/10 in quality based on some pretty tough brake dust on a couple of the wheels. I think given some effort they would clean up just fine. If you're going to use them for the track though, not an issue. Specs on the wheels: 18 x 8.5 ET29, 23.2 lbs 18 x 9.5 ET23, 25.0 lbs Specs on the tires: 275/35-18 255/35-18 I would prefer to work with someone locally around the Austin/nearby area because that's where the wheels and tires are, but I am in Arkansas. I drove down for the COTA track event and went with a buddy who lives in Austin, and he has the wheels/tires stacked in his garage. ----- EDIT/UPDATE: shipping is going to be a real pain and really expensive ($350-500) since I am not in Austin. All I can really do is have my friend drop them off at a UPS/Fedex "store" and have someone else do all the work. If someone really wants them bad, we can do that. Also, when I am back in Austin the 3rd week of October, I will get them all packed up properly and ready to ship then so the shipping rates are way more reasonable. ----- Below are pictures of the wheels with old tires before I mounted the RE-71R's and a pic of the stack as they stand now. The wheels are dirty right now so no good pics of the wheels at the moment. I literally took them off the car at COTA and they got stacked as they stand now. I'm going to try and get my buddy to at least clean up one so I can post a pic to show they clean fine. NOTE: there are no TPMS sensors installed, and the BMW center-caps are not with the wheels. I know I kind of say it in the original ad, but just to be clear, shipping is just going to be really difficult (and really expensive) with me being 10 hours away from the wheels and tires.
I got some shipping quotes yesterday and they were anywhere from $350-500 because all I can really ask of my friend is to drop them off at a shipping "store" and have someone else do all the work for him. If someone wants them bad enough to pay shipping, I'll definitely do it, but I can't see that happening, lol. When I am back in Austin in October I will get the wheels all ready for shipping myself and take care of all the packing and such. |
