Help identifying Airbag fault - 009402

I've got a fault I want to try to remedy. The fault code that I receive in carly is airbag fault code 009402. It lights up the airbag and seatbelt symbols in my e88 135i. Its described as follows:

:Rollover Controller / Upfront left sensor defective.

I assume I need to replace both the rollover controller and upfront left sensor. I have obtained a rollover controller from a local part out for next to nothing but I have no idea what or where the upfront left sensor is... Any help identifying this part would be greatly appreciated.

Also... can anyone tell me exactly where the rollover controller on the e88 is? I understand it's under the backseat but am uncertain as to it's exact whereabouts for replacement. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Nobody knows? Possibly left front impact sensor behind the bumper? Front airbag sensor under the driver seat?

I have the same problem(2008 E88 135i) found very little on it. It came on after a an upgrade of the intank lpfp stage 2. I also did 3 fuel injectors....all with the battery disconnected....when powered back up had this code. If you work something out please post here - I will do the same.

after having a better code reader read the codes I determined that only the rollover controller needed replacing. Getting the rear seats out was a pain in the rear so I had an indy shop do the rollover controller install. Charged me a 100 bucks. I only paid 60 bucks for the sensor on ebay out of a salvage car. So for $160 it was worth it to get rid of that annoying airbag symbol on my cluster.
