Anyone have Akrapovic Exhaust for F80 in Denver area
Anyone in the Denver area have the Akrapovic exhaust with or without link pipe installed? Would love to hear it in person and whether you're happy with it - sound, drone, etc. Also curious if the delete of the secondary cats with the addition of the link pipe will cause issues with emissions testing in CO 4 years from now. I had the Eisenmann Race with Challenger Street X pipe on my E90 and loved the sound.

Not entirely what you're looking for - but I had the full EVO system on my E90 M3, and it was amazing. Build quality, sound, everything.
It passed the actual emissions test (output numbers) though failed the visual inspection, which is done at the very end. If I had to do it all over I'd be sure to gently coast by as many roadside test stations as possible within a month or two of my renewal - this would avoid having to visit the actual testing station which is the only place they do the visual inspection.

Have you seen this thread? http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1321089
If you're interested in the Akrapovic exhaust the midpipe and downpipe is not being imported any longer. You will have to have it shipped from Europe. I believe you can still get the slip on however. |
