I have a modded muffler I'll trade for your stocker. It came on my car when I bought, not sure what method it is, but it won't cost you anything but your time to swap it. It's just sitting in my garage collecting dust. I'm near BWI.

Unfortunately, I would need to know which method as I'm not looking for the perforated route. Please let me know if you find out and what condition it's in.

Thanks in advance!

If you find out it's the perforated mod I would be interested.

I'm not sure which method it is and I don't really know the difference between the two either. It was on the car when I bought it, I noticed the muffler had been modified when I installed an exhaust. I searched the forum and found the previous owner and his signature mentioned a modded muffler but I don't remember which one or his screen name, this was all a couple of years ago. Right now the muffler is just chillin in my garage. I'll give it to anyone so long as I get their useable stocker in exchange. It wasn't overly loud while on the car and I never compared it to a stock one. To me it was stock as I didn't know anybetter.

Is it for an E90 or E92?

The perforated is the quieter one of the two mods.

That's what I thought from other threads I've read.

Thanks for the chime in!
