bye m3, hello m6
well last thursday i went to my dealer to order and spec out my m3 and ended up leaving with a black/black 6 speed m6. its like the car was meant for me, stick shift, black///black with carbon fiber trim and pretty much every option. i leased it for 2 years and am very happy with my choice even though i spent countless unbearable sleepless nights deciding on color choices and what not for the m3 i was supposed to be getting. although i am sad to let up all this time waiting for the m3 i am very happy with my choice. this car is a beast! i still check m3post for updates though because m5/m6 post is nowhere near as good as this site. i will try and get some pics up so you all can see my new ride. later everyone.
heres some quick pics i got Last edited by landon305; 02-27-2008 at 04:13 PM.. |

If you lease, you'll likely get a better deal on an M6 or M5 than an M3, provided you can keep it to 10,000 miles/year (which is why i can't lease) ...
There are M5's advertised for $11xx a month for 24 months with very little down.... See Phillpe on Bimmerfest.

yea exactly. well i did the calculations with my dad and it ended up being around the same price per month. the dealer said it actually was a much better deal and will be cheaper being that they were charging around 10-20k over for the first 6 months! i dont know my exact payments but ill find out its around the area of 1100 a month for 24month lease. the residual is amazing on the m6 which is why its such a low payment i think its 73 percent for the coupe or around there. thanks though

83%....wwhhahaha!! I assume this is a facelifted 2008 car, if so here are the #'s. For the old 2007 looking cars, I dont have those.
Here ya go champ. 2008 BMW M6 Coupe 24 Month – Residual 69% of MSRP – .00255 Base Rate 36 Month – Residual 58% of MSRP – .00255 Base Rate 48 Month – Residual 45% of MSRP – .00275 Base Rate 60 Month – Residual 37% of MSRP – .00275 Base Rate For 12k miles add 2% for 10k miles a year add 3% to the residual. I dont know the options on the M6, but doing the math a loaded M6 to loaded M3, it looks like the M3 would be $500 cheaper per month on a 24 month 10k a year lease. |

If someone is leasing for the first time BMWNA financial group, what are the mandatory fees that you have to pay once and not if you are a returning customer? Is it the security deposit?

my cousin just picked up a 07 M6 for 1000+tax, 10k miles per year, 4k down. very nice deal IMO. his gas mileage sucks though, i hope we'll have better mileage with M3
