M4 badge on front grill falling off
It seems this piece is only attached with double sided tape, and about half of the sticky tape will not stick to the plastic surface of the kidney grill. It wiggles alarmingly and will probably evaporate with next high pressure wash.
Took it in today, M-tech looked at it and ordered new logo (with grill) on warranty. Sounds wasteful doesn't it, when BMW marketing trumpets about efficient dynamics. How about efficient spares parts handling? |

Had the "W" fall off the grill on a Passat W8 I used to own when I was removing bugs. New double sided tape, never came off again no matter what. Hopefully that is the only and last of your issues with the car. |

Half the M4s I looked at (including my own) have loose stickers with the emblem on the front fenders. You can push them in and see they're peeling off a bit and sticking out. I doubt they will last all that long - hopefully BMW recognizes the defect and comes up with a solution.

while we're at this, can the badge be removed w/hairdryer then? I'd like to have it removed, will do the same with the rear badge probably. haters gonna hate and the true M aficionado will know anyway.

You'll have the backing plate visible then, and that will likely annoy you.

The badge on my car was lifting at the top. Then I realised the badge was stuck on wonky. Makes you wonder the people who build these cars if they can't even put a badge on straight when there are two guide lug holes...

Put a drywall screw thru it, won't move after that.
