White M4 with SO....help

Hey all..so I have been looking at countless photos of AW with So interior and I can't decide on what to do. Hoping I can get some input here.

I have a week before I'm unable to make changes to my build. Right now it's AW with black extended leather. My E92 M3 is AW with black and I wanted to do something a bit different. Just wanted some input on the AW with SO interior and what your thoughts are. I personally haven't seen the SO interior yet...which might help me decide, but I'm down to limited time here.

Thanks!

Honestly the decision is easy.

The combo looks amazing in my opinion. It comes down to whether you want a red inviting interior or a black typical interior?

I think white/red was the most popular combo on the E92 and I'm sure that will hold true with the new generation.

I'd go red hands down. It will look great and there are plenty of SO interiors with white cars in the gallery section to check out. You said yourself you want something different. Don't get the same combo again.

I love my aw/so. I think it goes really well with the m3. I saw almost every color during the group ed trip, and it's still my favorite, tied with mg/so. My third choice would be mg/cloth...the cloth looks amazing in person.

Very true...I would like something different! I guess another hem up is that the calipers are blue (I wish we had color options there). It's a silly reason, but I guess Im trying to find a justification for to stick with the same old same! Thanks for the input........

SO seems to be the popular choice, black would be the safe choice. I guess I'm the weird one picking SB for my AW M4. I think it will look great, just hoping it doesn't look like a Lexus or Cadillac. I think it will be ok since it's not MW. It should be here this week and I'll put some pictures up.

The SO looks a bit odd to me in pictures, but I've never seen it in person. I really wish cinnamon was an option like in E46 series.

SO full leather with the colored stitching on the dash is very nice. Worth the bucks, IMO.

Go with black full leather. Contrast stitching on black leather looks amazing.
Red interior looks good initially, but you can get bored of the color fast.
Plus red shows wear and tear quicker than black.

Black is the only interior that has contrast stitching on the seats. It looks a whole lot better than the standard black interiors. I saw SO, and although it looks OK, its just a bit too much for me. Yeah, I'm boring.

My only change I would make on my car is to go with SO. While it is true the SO shows dirt quicker (not wear IMO) it just requires a lille more work to keep it clean. However, if you are like me, I clean and condition my seats every week to make sure the leather is always spotless and soft and remains that way. I don't think you can go wrong with the SO though and would love to find someone who would switch with me for my full black.

Go for it is my vote. You can always fond someone who will trade with you if you don't like it in the end, I think it is impossible not to like though.

Make sure you see it IRL. I think SO interior look sharp in pix but IRL I just can't handle reddish interiors. 50's diner vinyl comes to mind at best. I really like my full black leather with the white contrast stitching. No right or wrong but make the effort to see it before you order.

I got AW with SO. I like it, but fair warning - it is bright. Now and again I'd look in the back seat to talk to a friend or look for something and go "whoa". The red I had in my MZ3 was more subdued.

+1 for cleaning weekly. yay car wash Sunday's. I would advise getting at least a UV tint. If the fox red on the E90 is any indicator, then the tint will save you from the redish hue turning more orange.

+1 on the tint. I have all my windows tinted. 20 all the way around except windshield which is 70% and not only does it save the interior but if you do ever park outside it keeps it much cooler, lets the A/C work so much more efficiently and cools down much faster.

What do you use to clean and condition?
