Why no highway pulls yet vs E9x?

Prob bc the cars are still very rare (actual delivered cars, not on lots) and those of us who have them have not broken them in yet, that would be my guess.

The one guy on here to do a pull against an M6 during break in also has a thread about an imploded DCT.

IMHO this will be quite boring. We know the results already. It will be a significant trouncing at all speeds but will be less significant at higher speeds.

Good lord can we just get over the fact the F80 and F82 will flat out anihilate the E90 and E92 in all measurable categories! Man these guys just wont go away like a bad case of herpes.

From where the S55 goes flat and the S65 keeps going another 3000rpm to redline. Just curious. Don't really care one way or the other just would like to see the difference.

I'm sure that you have looked at the interlaced dyno graphs of the two cars. The E9X has no chance at any speed in any RPM. You are dreaming!

I don't get the drama. It would be fun to see a whole bunch of head to head pulls by the F8x against a bunch of cars including the E9x M. I'm betting those threads would get a bunch of views.

Actually they are both sport luxury coupes and neither is a real sports car. My point is there is always something faster / more luxurious/ fun , etc. . I want people stop pissing on other BMW owners to make themselves feel better . I think it's hilarious people bash everything else BMW makes all of a sudden bc of their new purchase. The E92 was a fun luxury sport coupe that had more chassis than power , the F80 M3/4 is a fun luxury sport coupe that has more power than the chassis can handle . Both are fun cars in different ways . Everybody is wayyyy to up tight lol . The best car for you is what you enjoy most and can afford . There is no right answer .

What are you talking about? M6 is a GT. M4 is a track car.
